The TAQ-56, based on the iconic FN SCAR-L gun variant, is an incredibly adaptable and consistent weapon throughout all modes and game types in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2…particularly DMZ. The gun’s consistency stems from its extremely controlled recoil, little attachment cost, and good damage at medium to long range.
Because of the gun’s power, there is a lot of leeway with attachments, notably optics, which aren’t required at all. Operators also have a wealth of muzzle and rear grip options, which can be set for recoil management to make the rifle more stable or mobility for a more aggressive play style. Whether it’s against the several tiers of AI or other operators, the TAQ-56 consistently performs at such a high level that it’s well worth any player’s insured slot.

While the Signal 50 has a faster “time to kill” and the SP-X 80 has recently emerged in the Warzone 2.0 meta, the Victus XMR remains a contender for the best sniper in the game. With a gun model based on the legendary Accuracy International AW50, it’s no surprise that gamers, regardless of game style, are drawn to this classic weapon.
While the gun has a fairly steep learning curve, many of these can be mitigated by attachments such as the Raptor-FVM40, the only optic with a bullet drop indicator. The sniper is also fantastic against tier 3 AI, and can easily one-shot them. This one-shot is available to even operators who do not have a complete 3-play vest equipped.

Following the nerf of the Fennec 45, many players looked to other SMGs to fill a similar close-range role. The BAS-P, on the other hand, has continuously been overlooked and has undoubtedly improved with time. Based on the real-life gun known as the SIG MPX, many may have overlooked the weapon’s potential due to its poor usage across much of Warzone 2.0 and the DMZ.
Those that test it will find it to be one of the most stable and consistent SMGs in the game. To find the sweet spot, operators won’t need to invest much in recoil management and can even forego using an optic if the iron sights aren’t too intrusive. The gun’s performance against tier 3 AI, which is famously irritating and aggressive, may be the most shocking feature of it.

Marksmen Rifles haven’t been widely recognised as good in Warzone 2.0 or DMZ since Spacebar Clicker game’s release, but that suddenly changed overnight when Season 2 added the Tempus Torrent, which was immediately determined to be a very viable alternative. The Tempus Torrent, which is based on the gun model for the SR-25, has significant damage and tolerable recoil even in full auto mode, which is unusual for a weapon of this class.
While aiming stability and recoil control require some fine-tuning to ensure shots hit their target, once an operator finds a rhythm with the gun, there is no stopping them. The rifle is lethal at long range and can swiftly destroy any operator’s plates at medium range due to its archetype, making it incredibly competitive against Assault Rifles.

“The stats don’t tell the whole story,” as the saying goes, and nowhere is this more true than with the RPK. Despite no longer being the DMZ and Warzone 2.0 king, the gun remains incredibly consistent and versatile, requiring little tuning. It also has the advantage of being the most accessible gun in the DMZ due to the tier 1 and 2 AI continuously using it, resulting in an abundance of ammo.
Operators have a plethora of attachment and play style options because to the RPK’s well-balanced stats. Unlike other LMGs, which almost always require one or two unique attachments in certain slots, the RPK merely needs 7.62 High Velocity ammo to compensate for its low bullet velocity stat. Aside from that, the gun remains a jack of all trades, making it an easy choice for an insured slot for many.

It is not suggested to infiltrate Al Mazrah with a shotgun, but there is a lot more possibility for close-range combat on Ashika Island, particularly in Building 21. So it only makes sense to bring the best shotgun that the KV Broadside has to offer.
Despite the change to the 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath ammo attachment, it is still a viable choice because it handles all tiers of AI quite well and is an annoyance to operators because it obscures vision and causes a lot of flinching. Even if a player does not use the attachment, the gun’s damage output is unrivalled due to its rate of fire, making it the greatest option.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 are now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
