Braid
Braid is one of the most distinctive platformers of the early 2000s, ushering in the current wave of indie games. This game blends side-scrolling platforming with the time-rewinding concept to create some unusual gameplay challenges.
The story’s gut punch comes at the end, when it is revealed that the protagonist, Tim, was actually the monster that the princess had been avoiding all along. The Knight, who appeared to be the antagonist, was actually the genuine hero of the story.
A Way Out
A Way Out is one of many fantastic co-op experiences available from Hazelight Studios. The plot of the game revolves around two people who become friends and escape from jail together, only to have a huge plot twist arise later on.
Vincent turned revealed to be a double agent who was part of a sting operation to obtain the priceless Black Orlov. The game concludes in a confrontation between the two, with only one player surviving.
Injustice 2
Injustice 2 is a sequel to one of the best superhero fighting games in recent memory, with both games’ original stories being enjoyable to discover. In Injustice 2, players enjoy beating up other heroes, and the final fight demonstrates how compelling the story is.
By the end of this story, players will be able to play as either Superman or Batman, with the former being a more villainous figure. As a result, if players choose to control Superman and battle the story’s hero, the world can be plunged down a very dark path indeed.
Infamous
Infamous is a fantastic open-world superhero game that desperately needs a restoration. The title’s enjoyable parkour and electrical skills provided a terrific time as players blasted the adversary with a slew of stunning abilities.
By the end of Funny Shooter 2 game, the protagonist, Cole McGrath, is fighting a mysterious Conduit named Kessler. Only after beating this opponent did the players discover his true identity. Kessler was actually Cole from the future, attempting to save this Earth from its fate.
Omori
Omori is an absolute tearjerker, with the psychological trauma not revealing itself until the very end. Sunny, who has been through a lot, chooses to fight back against the embodiment of hate and self-loathing that he used to retreat into all the time: Omori himself.
Fighting Omori is a terrifying experience, and players can’t even win against its overwhelming force and impact. Only when the player refuses to give in and completes his duet with Mari does this evil force within him go for good.
Grand Theft Auto 5
Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the most ambitious sandbox games ever produced, with the community welcoming the changeover to three distinct characters. Franklin appears to be forced to choose between killing Michael and Trevor after a roller-coaster trip full of thrills and turns.
Making one of these two decisions results in Frankin either killing the mad man who has a past with Michael or killing the man who practically functioned as a mentor of sorts. Of course, seasoned GTA 5 players are aware that the canon ending is Death Wish, in which all three protagonists work together to eliminate their adversaries.
Prototype 2
Prototype 2 is an excellent open-world title in which players can go on a violent rampage by assuming the identities of others and use their morphing abilities to great effect. One of the most noteworthy aspects of Prototype 2 is that its nemesis is the first game’s hero, Alex Mercer.
Of course, Alex Mercer was not your normal hero, but witnessing him suffer this enormous heel turn is still very shocking. Suffice it to say, this figure serves as the game’s last boss, with his hatred for humanity leading him down a terrible path.
The Last Of Us Part 2
To be honest, there aren’t any heroes or villains in The Last of Us Part 2. People are shaped by their surroundings, and the fundamental idea of this book is around the cycle of violence and how, with a few exceptions, no one is truly evil.
Ellie and Abby are both damaged characters who repeatedly allow their need for vengeance get the best of them. After a brutal fistfight near the end of the game, Ellie decides to spare Abby and abandon her herculean quest for vengeance.
